December Havdalah

Join us for our monthly Havdalah. 

We will be singing, eating a small afternoon meal, and sending a farewell to Shabbat. 

The food will be gluten-free and vegan. 

Attendance is a suggested contribution of $10 - $18 or whatever works for you. 

10% of money gathered goes to mutual aid in Palestine and the Bay. For more on why dinner costs money, please see our questions + answers.

​Access info: It is possible to park very close to the park. The park is slightly uphill. Please bring a chair if you need one.

COVID info: To make this effort more accessible, we are meeting outside and encouraging wearing KN95/N95 masks. We are also asking that attendees rapid test before coming (please swab mouth, cheeks and back of throat before nose at least 30 mins after eating for most accurate results). Our service is musical and meditative.

Our dinner is casual, conversational, and tasty. The food will be gluten-free and vegan.

Dinner cost: suggested contribution of $18 - $36 or whatever works for you

Location: North Berkeley home near the Berkeley Rose Garden, address sent after registration

Access info: The house is on a medium-sized hill. There are two steps up to the front door and one step up to the back porch. To get to the back porch, you go through the house. We will have chairs of different sizes + without arms. 

COVID info: We are meeting outside with room to spread out. We are encouraging wearing KN95/N95 masks. We are also asking that attendees rapid test before coming (please swab mouth, cheeks and back of throat before nose at least 30 mins after eating for most accurate results).
